Dr. Granger has practiced and conducted research in the area of clinical, forensic and regulatory toxicology for more than 25 years evolving
into his current professional focus on applied environmental hygiene and laboratory science. During this period, Dr. Granger investigated numerous public health incidents ranging from poisoning to chronic exposure to environmental pollutants. On several occasions, Dr. Granger participated or lead health hazard investigations following major catastrophic events.
Dr. Granger holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of West Florida and a Doctorate in pharmacology and toxicology from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Granger has served as a consultant or advisor to many private and public agencies including architects, engineers, contractors, building owners and managers, insurance companies, attorneys, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Defense Logistic Agency, and the National Academy of Sciences, to name a few. In 1988, Dr. Granger began a fifteen year contract relationship with the National Institute of Standards and Technology whereby he served as a technical expert and laboratory assessor for the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP). In 1991, Dr. Granger assumed the position of Toxicologist & Laboratory Director for HP Environmental, Inc. Dr. Granger has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists and is a Diplomat or member of numerous professional societies.
